Claire Edwards

I am delighted to be able to work closely with Claire Edwards, who has recently helped me rehabilitate following surgery on my shoulder.

Claire operates from the Springbank Clinic in Sevenoaks offering Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, specialising in Clinical Pilates, Run Analysis and Bike Fitting services. Claire can be contacted using the "Contact Springbank" button below, where you can either book an appointment or ask to speak to Claire directly.

Claire and I can work together with you to ensure that your rehabilitation exercises are done correctly and help you back to recovery as quickly and safely as possible.

Claire graduated in 2002 with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Keele University, and has worked in both England and Australia, predominantly in Musculoskeletal, Sport and Orthopaedics specialties. Her passion for sport and fitness, and the desire to provide a holistic service to her clients led to post-graduate qualifications including a MSc in Sports Nutrition, Level 3 and 4 Gym instruction and Personal Training from the The Australian Institute of Fitness, and swim coaching.

Her approach focuses on movement analysis in conjunction with the manual therapy skills required, whether it be assisting recovery from injury into the rehabilitation phase and eventual return to sport, or functional screening for injury prevention and performance enhancement.

Personally, Claire has always been involved in sport, with experience in both solo and team participation; from swimming to martial arts and has worked with numerous athletes both semi-professional and amateur.  Her particular interest is in endurance sport and is herself a keen triathlete and distance cyclist.

She competes regularly, and can count 2 Ironman races, several Ironman 70.3s and numerous UK and European cycle sportive events in her list of achievements to date. This experience of both the physical and mental demands of competition and training, led her to specialising in this field, continuing her further education in running and cycling analysis as well as maintaining a keen interest in sports nutrition.

Claire is a qualified Advanced Clinical Pilates Practitioner, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP 66800) and the HCPC (PH62186).
